NOTW: Marina
Clawing the bottle is probably the only way I can show you the thumb. My first Zoya nail polish ever and I really like the consistency. Really creamy and glides on the nail really well. I can just keep it at one coat but 2 coats will always be safer.
Marina is a nice midnight blue with a hint of teal, can't really tell in the photo but if you stare at your nails after you apply it, you'll know what I mean.

NOTW - Sue vs. Shue
This deep navy blue came out with the Glee collection, I wasn't all that crazy about the collection but the fact that I saw them in mini bottles totally sold me.
Accent finger I added a layer of OPI Celibacy, also from the Glee collection. I love how tiny the bottles are, because I don't think I can go through a full size bottle ever. The only thing that would keep me from getting these mini-size OPI would be the applicator brush. They are so tiny and can't seem to pick up much product.
I like to be able to coat my nail with one single brush full of product instead of second dipping. Such a turnoff... but I do love this rich color!

NOTW - Munis Mauve
A strawberry red color for the faint of nails. Essie colors are sweet because they have so many shades, and it last so long.
Just cut my nails and now they're uber short. How long do you like your nails?

NOTW - Mermaid's Tears
Whipping out my colors now.
Accent nail is OPI's Gleek Out from the Glee collection.
This was actually from last week. My nails are completely naked now and it feels thin. Ever had that problem? Any solutions?

NOTW - Fed Up
Definitely a really sheer color. With two coats and my nails look the same. Though, this is a good polish for french tips.

NOTW - Steady As She Rose REMIX
I came across Colette's blog - My Simple Little Pleasures and she does these amazing water marble nails. It pretty much convinced me to try it out myself.
Two different designs on the index nail because I was trying this out for the first time. Finding colors that work with each other was also a challenge. The best part is that I know I'm putting my nail polishes to good use and not wasting them.
Btw, I'm still in love with OPI - Steady As She Rose

NOTW - Steady As She Rose
So, I heard Blogger has been down for maintenance and nearly all the posts that were posted from yesterday or the day before got lost? That totally blows but what can you do? I'm sure Blogger is trying to restore as much as possible. Boy, am I glad I didn't lose any posts.
There were only a couple of polishes from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection that appealed to me. I like how milky and lavender this color looks. I'm really into the mellow, tone-down, pastel colors this season.

NOTW - Cetus
One of my go-to nude colors because it compliments the skin color on my hand nicely would be Sinful Colors' Cetus. It's a nice light nude pink with micro-shimmers in it.
Both photos under different lighting.
Sorry for my dry cuticles and hand *ashamed*
Since the color is quite natural and plain, I decided to do a little design on the ring finger. Hope you guys like it.

NOTW - The One That Got Away
I usually change my nail color weekly unless I get lazy or want to give them a break.
I also love using new polishes that I just got, just because I want to break open the bottle and un-virginize it... lol
In direct sunlight
Under florescent light
This color came out with the Katy Perry collection, the one where everyone was raving about because of the Black Shatter.
I fairly like this color. It looks really bright on my fair hands. The One That Got Away is a bold deep fuchsia shade with flecks of shimmer in them.
Oh, if you're wondering what's going on with my ring finger nail. Well, I tried using Black Shatter in hopes that it would turn out nice. But, it got messed up and being the lazy person that I am I end up putting a coat of Teenage Dream over it. Actually looks quite pleasing after so many different layers of polish.
